Add Music On Your Orkut Profile
Note: The application have changed their options and this trick works no more. If you are interested in orkut see my post on Orkut Official Themes
Orkut has changed a lot ever since the introduction of Open Social Applications. Here is one such new addition that will attract your profile visitors. Recently, when i visited Shankar Ganesh’s profile page , i was welcomed with a nice background music. Out of curiosity, i learned how to add music to my profile page with shankar’s help.
The method is so simple. I’ve explained it step-by- step,
- First go to your orkut account and select “add apps” link on the left pane.
- Among the list of applications, select “Music iLike”.
- On the approval page of Music iLike, click on “add application”.
- Here change your settings to autoplay ‘Songs’ and click ’save’.
- That’s it. So simple ! Now get back to your profile, sit back and watch.(listen!?). You can stop the playback anytime by hitting the pause key.
Sameway, you can add more than one songs to the application. This is just one feature of that application, find out more for yourself.

@arefa What browser are you using?
@amit As of now you can’t select specific songs, but can select to autoplay either videos or music

Hey,
I too have seen the option “Choose what to auto play on your profile”, which could be music or videos. However, this option is not available now
The only option is “Choose what boxes appear on your profile”.
How do we get back the option to “Choose what to auto play on your profile”?

hello and great info although I do not have the APPS option on my Orkut home page, How do I get the APPS option added to my Orkut home page? So I can then follow your insructions?
